Volunteers Needed for Work Weekend May 24-27!
Every Memorial Day, friends and supporters of Oakland Feather River Camp put on their work gloves and spend all or part of their holiday weekend volunteering to help open camp for the coming season. Volunteers receive FREE stay and meals during the work weekend!
There are many projects to do to wake up camp from the winter and get things ready for the summer. Whether you are a long-time OFRC Family Camper or have never been to camp, volunteers of all ages (especially energetic teenagers) are welcome! However, please note that while this program is available to all, there are no camp activities available other than work projects and young children may not enjoy this camp experience.
A limited number of non-service domestic dogs are allowed onsite during Memorial Day work weekend. Please review our updated Animal Policies.
