River Camp

Oakland Feather River Camp kicked off its centennial season with a 100th Anniversary Gala at Jack London Square in Oakland, where early campers boarded the train to camp. It was a truly momentous celebration to honor and support our past, present, and future of transforming the lives of Oakland and East Bay campers of all ages through meaningful outdoor recreation and community building experiences. 

We are grateful to the hundred of thousands of community members who have helped us reach this milestone, and to the sponsors, speakers,  attendees, donors, and others who contributed to the Gala’s incredible success. 

Together we raised over $190,000 to support equitable access to nature and meaningful outdoor programs for kids and families, including $90,000 for our Campership & Outreach Fund that ensures all members of our community have access to an Oakland Feather River Camp experience.
